Under general direction, the successful candidate will act as a Helpdesk support that will manage the entire process of receiving, responding and resolving requests for technical assistance. The objective of the role is to provide first line support on the Information Technology Helpdesk, handling incoming calls, assigning and managing calls, providing general administrative support to the IT Department.
At least 2 years’ experience in an IT support environment or demonstrable ability while working in an end user department
Sufficient experience working in a service delivery role
Experience of use of the products in use as part of the technical strategy
Experience in the use of Microsoft Windows(XP, windows 7/8.1 and Microsoft Office (office 2010/2013) as a user
Active Directory Management and File server knowledge
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
An understanding of the principles of networking and internet technologies
An interest in Information Technology and a keenness to develop IT skills
Certifications such as A+, N+, CCNA or relevant certification
A recognized university degree or its equivalent.
