POSITION : Head, Device, Logistics and Supply Chain 

Summary

The Head, Device Logistics and Supply Chain will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, directing, managing and evaluating the company supply chain activities across multiple jurisdictions across the country.

Responsibilities

Develop and direct strategies for the supply chain division and ensure these strategies are aligned with the overall goals of the organization
Consistently source for new POS device specification that meets the current mass market need
Develop and implement solutions to ensure optimum device utilization
Build, maintain and manage relationship with offshore device technical partners
Source for new device business projects
Source for device funding partnership from financial institutions, government parastatals, non-governmental organizations and international organizations
Liaise with customs to ensure seamless delivery of devices
Manage all device import processes
Management of device supply risks – shortages and exceptions
Minimise freight exceptions
Develop and implement an inventory optimisation plan, a warehouse optimisation plan and logistics plan
Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and monthly reports for supply chain services
Implement and drive a culture of continuous improvement within supply chain management
Establish and maintain networks that foster and promote excellent relationships.

Qualification and Experience:

BSc/BA in relevant discipline  (2:2 and above)
MBA, Masters or Post Graduate Degree in Supply chain or Logistics (International degrees are highly desirable)
8+ years in progressively responsible experience in POS Logistics and Supply Chain leadership roles, preferably in a Telecommunication, FMCG, Banking, Utility Payments, Sports Betting, Lottery industry.

Skills

PC proficiency and strong working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word and Google application is essential.
Strong understanding of engineering behind different types of POS devices
Proven technical experience within the ICT industry
Record of successful POS distribution strategy and logistics management
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
Proficient in standard logistics and inventory management software
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Experience in the POS industry, specifically retail agent distribution network, is a critical advantage
Strategic business/commercial operational knowledge and understanding
Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a deep understanding of demand analysis

 

POSITION : Business Development Manager 

Summary

Responsible for developing and executing all key growth sales strategies tactics and action plans required to grow the company’s business.

Responsibilities

At least 3 years related experience or at least in B2B sales
Successful track record of exceeding revenue/business goals
Ability to develop complex or creative sales strategies that clearly define goals, strategies/tactics and metrics for measuring success,
Operational excellence in managing a pipeline of opportunities, revenue forecasting and conducting account/forecast reviews with senior management,
Good knowledge of local IT sector and market trends,
Excellent written and verbal skills in English language,
Driving license.
Very welcome:
Knowledge of eCommerce and e-Signature market,
Knowledge of Certification Authority products and services,
Knowledge of French.

Main tasks:

Development of business partners network and strategic customers portfolio interested in IT security and e-Signature products on the West African market (with first and primary focus on Nigeria),
Development and management of sales strategy to achieve sales goals,
Development of alternative sales channels (e-Commerce, telesales, relational sales) based on agreed sales strategy,
Supervision on sales process realization in partner sales channel,
Strong commitment in customer relationship management based on efficient representation of the company,
Cooperation with marketing, controlling and other business units to maximize successful engagement, revenue generation and successful implementation & support.

POSITION : Country Manager 

Responsibilities

Achieve agreed budget targets (sales, costs, profit) for the Sub Sahara region for their TT Division
Lead the national sales organization team
Analyze sales, monitor progress and evaluate marketing/sales activities and initiate corrective actions if needed. Maintain the BBSC and discuss this with TT/SAF organisation in Portugal
Create, implement and evaluate local LTP (long-term planning), budgets and SAP (sales action plan) yearly for Southern Africa region
Provide effective coordination with the Regional Local Representatives in the different countries with respect to new partners, projects and business development
Maintain, report and follow up monthly the project list / cross GB list / large project list
Analyze and report competitor activities in terms of their strategy, operation, product portfolio and pricing
Report to and work closely together with TT/SAF management

Qualification and Experience:

A University or University of Technology degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, marketing or management.
Post graduate qualification is an added advantage
Proven track record in country management or sales director roles.
Proven record of people management & development
Experience with proven knowledge of similar processes and procedures in a similar work environment.

POSITION : Head of Sales 

Summary

Responsible for developing and executing all key growth sales strategies tactics and action plans required to grow the company’s business.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the establishment of both annual and monthly sales objectives in coordination with the Company’s business plan.
Responsible for providing an annual Sales Plan and providing quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the Plan.
Responsible for coordinating the specific objectives of the Sales Plan with all of the functional departments of the company and, most specifically with Finance in coordination with Business Development, establishes both market and target customer strategies for the company.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
Responsible for the successful management of the needs of the Company’s customers in order to meet the objectives of the company’s overall business plans and strategies manage all of the field and in house sales functions of The Company’s facilities.
The position specifically is responsible for field sales, inside sales and telemarketing, and all customer support functions of the business

Qualification and Experience:

Skills & Knowledge Required

8 years’ Experience in a managerial role in Sales [Telecoms, FMCG, Lottery and Payment]
Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Managing relationships at a range of media institutions (newspaper, radio, online etc.)
Strong mass market awareness, digital media knowledge
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Pre-existing agent network and/or corporate relationships
Managing a national agent network
Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
Sales strategy promoting a national network with a localised State strategy
Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Education

BA/BSc Mandatory.
PGD/MBA in Mass Communication or Economics recognized international qualification an added advantage.
